Summary

Conditions for the execution of detention and punishment of handicapped prisoners currently respect special needs of immobile people and persons with sight and hearing involvements. This group of prisoners is not large, but handling with them is very tedious and it calls for individual attitude, determination of the type of the health involvement and classification of each particular prisoner depending on criminology criteria. Results of research mapping the currently existing situation throughout the Czech Republic make it possible to compare health and criminology characteristics of handicapped prisoners.

Souhrn

Podmínky pro výkon vazby a výkon trestu zdravotně postižených vězňů v současné době respektují zvláštní potřeby imobilních, zrakově a sluchově handicapovaných osob. Přestože tato skupina vězňů není velká, zacházení s nimi je velmi náročné, vyžaduje individuální přístup, určení typu zdravotního postižení a začlenění konkrétního pachatele podle kriminologických hledisek. Výsledky sondy, která mapuje momentální situaci na celém území České republiky, umožňují porovnání zdravotních a kriminologických charakteristik handicapovaných věz­ňů.
