MALTREATED, ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN – POSSIBILITIES OF SOCIALIZATION ACTIVITY AS PREVENTION OF UNDESIRABLE DEVELOPMENT

Summary

The author deals with the CAN (Child Abuse and Neglect) syndrome and stresses the possibilities of socialization activity as prevention of undesirable development. He alerts to the necessity of increased attention of all authorities and institutions engaged in care for the child and participating in his/here protection. He stresses the necessity of increased attention of the parents and next environment. These children are classified as children in particularly adverse situations in the World Survival Declaration. He alerts to the development of the changes of the child’s position in the society and remembers that the Convention on the Rights of the Child from 1989 assigns almost complete legal subjectivity to the child. He discusses the forms of CAN syndrome in the Czech Republic, deals with diagnostics of the risks of this syndrome and the possibilities of its prevention. He further deals with therapy ways, dividing it into long-term and short-term therapy. He discusses pessimistically the preventive care of origination of this syndrome. He divides preventive programs by age.

Souhrn

Autor se zabývá syndromem CAN (Child Abuse and Neglect), zdůrazňuje možnosti socializačního působení jako prevence nežádoucího vývoje. Upozorňuje na nutnost zvýšit pozornost všech orgánů a institucí angažujících se v péči o dítě a podílejících se na jeho ochraně. Zdůrazňuje zvýšit pozornost rodičů a nejbližšího okolí. Tyto děti jsou ve Světové deklaraci o přežití označené jako děti ve zvlášť nepříznivých situacích. Upozorňuje na vývoj změn postavení dítěte ve společnosti a připomíná, že Úmluva o právech dítěte z r. 1989 přiznává dítěti téměř plnou právní subjektivitu. Probírá formy syndromu CAN v České republice, věnuje se diagnostice rizik tohoto syndromu a možnosti jeho prevence. Dále se zabývá způsoby terapie, rozděluje ji na dlouhodobou a krátkodobou. Pesimisticky se zabývá preventivní péčí vzniku tohoto syndromu. Preventivní programy rozděluje podle věku.
